Jakarta - Keputusan Panglima TNI Jenderal Endriartono Sutarto yang mengizinkan TNI aktif ikut pilkada dinilai bertentangan dengan UU No.34/2004 tentang TNI. Keputusan itu tidak memiliki kekuatan hukum dan mendistorsi UU TNI.
Menurut Wakil Ketua Komisi I DPR Effendy Choirie, Komisi I akan mempertanyakan surat Panglima TNI yang membolehkan TNI aktif ikut dalam pilkada.
