Kontrak berjangka utama New York, minyak mentah jenis light sweet untuk pengiriman Juni, berakhir pada 54,47 dollar AS per barrel, naik 1,27 dollar AS dari harga penutupan Jumat, ketika harga minyak mencatat kenaikan lebih dari dua dollar AS.
